Although my primary focus in my photographs has always been Pakistan and I will never be able to tell stories better anywhere than I do in my own country, I have taken inspiration from around the world. Be it architecture, indigenous cultures, history, museums, or aura of a place oceans away, I would be inspired to look at some aspects of Pakistan in a different light and with a different eye. I've had the privilege of exhibiting around the world and have given workshops, including in some countries where I've dreamt of visiting- such as Turkey. In the heart of Istanbul lies my ancestor's (Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari) tomb.
Through my photographs I want to bridge cultural divides.
